Some Topics of future exploration

Well.... I must admit I love dwelling on far fetched fantastical topics when thinking about this subject of precedence. Some may be reworks of topics that tend to go hand in hand with creation vs evolution debates. Others might be so off the chart that they may be dismissed as utter stupidity.... and others... while I might not have a specific position but will explore some possibilities on them.

So look out for some of the following (but not necessarily in this order)
1.) Age - a disease
2.) Teleportation or faster than light travel?
3.) Multiple dimensions ??
4.) Terra forming a reality!
5.) The Lizard regrowth effect- can it be extended to humans?
6.) Time travel or timeless dimensions
7.) Something from nothing
8.) Perpetual Energy
9.) The rise and fall of man... what happened to the Incas?
10.)Mission Space ... only a dream?
11.)The Beasts rise... fact or fiction
12.)Medical Possibilities
13.)...and more

Early Thoughts

I've always been fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy novels ... I was often in trouble in high school for reading during classes. And boy did I read a lot then! But there was a sense of the grand and glorious that was "imagineered" in many of the Sci-Fi novels I read. And it really stirred a sense of wonder and excitement in that boy who read through those many rich stories. The limitless worlds created in Fantasy literature roamed by Heroes and Foes was also an escape into endless possibilities.

After High School I moved onto University where I studied towards my Engineering degree and got to work through some of the theory that has turned much of the early science fiction literature into reality. And yes... some lectures were attended where reading an Asimov or Gemmel story under the desk was not an uncommon occurrence.

From a very early age I also came to know Christ. And being brought up in Christian home also spent time reading through the Bible ... and what really struck me are some of the very interesting stories one finds there that are speckled with all sorts of tidbits of interesting information.

But what also struck me while reading the Bible was that as a Christian we read the bible as literal truth- the Word of God given to mankind. And reading through many of these stories, if one takes events described there to have factually occurred, then one can claim precedence for many scientific hypothesis or theories.

It must have seemed so weird to many watching early star trek episodes, to see these "space explorers" firing ray guns, being beamed to a planets surface or running portable medical scanning devices... and yet today as I write this much of what we saw in these early sci fi episodes can today be found readily available as manufactured devices, and some even available to the average consumer.

So.... why this blog. Well...I have a few thoughts on some scriptures read that tie in to interesting future possibilities or opportunities. Who knows... maybe some of these we will discover and implement one day... maybe others will take to long to unearth the secrets of operation, and development will be interrupted by the end day scenario prophesied in Revelations and Daniel. Who knows... but let me pen my thoughts.... maybe there might be someone who is inspired to push through the veil and recreate that which has been observed before.
